Carsena has been set up to enable businesses to achieve their full potential.
Over the last 10 years we have been founding, investing in and developing businesses that are now major players in their respective fields.
We use our expertise to:

Today through our invest and build strategy we seek to create a diversified portfolio of companies that can deliver long-term sustainable returns for shareholders whilst having a positive impact on society.
Many businesses can struggle to understand what they can actually achieve in their respective markets or how to do it. We will use our significant experience to keep make the picture clearer for business owners and assist them in achieving it.
To date we have been involved in engineering, telecoms and IT sectors as well as major infrastructure projects, with a focus at all times on responsible investing and sustainability being at the heart of their business plans.
Carsena possesses its own capital, and is adept at raising external sources of funding; the mix of this investment is critical to the success of the businesses Carsena is involved with.
Our Team
Carsena Investments is led by its Managing Director Brian Loughran.
Brian has decades of experience raising capital and sourcing finance for businesses at all stages through previous Corporate Finance roles in Radius CF, Cordovan and KPMG, as well as working in Bank of Ireland. To date Brian has been involved in Equity, Senior Debt and alternative fund-raising enabling businesses to access in excess of £700m of capital.
Carsena’s founder is Dominic Kearns.
Dominic has been involved in the founding and scaling up of various businesses over the last 10 years including Fibrus, Weev, b4b group and Viberoptix. All of those businesses have been built from start-ups to being mature (and still growing) businesses that now cumulatively employ in excess of 1000 people.
